My friend hired someone to work for them and as I was at their office listening into the conversation/interview they were having, I knew what kind of worker he was. First I looked at his face, then I listen to he had to say to confirm what demeanor had he originally tired to convey or lack of…
Soon as he left, I told my friend not to hire him. I said to my friend: “He is arrogant and will not take orders from you! Hire someone else”. Two weeks later, he was gone. I asked my friend why he wasn’t working there anymore and they said: “I asked him to do some filing for me and he said: ‘I’m here to work, not to be your file assistant'”. See how I was right? Jackass had too much pride and was too pompous in his ways. Plus, he was given a week to learn the curves of the computer system my friend was currently utilizing… He failed miserably…
My view is why in the hell would you work for someone and say that you are here to do one specific job and not another. Jackass. I heard that and was outraged. If I was there, I would have teared him a new ass and sent him home. Think of CVS, WalGreens, Walmart, Win Dixie etc…, they all have workers whom multi-task. If the registers aren’t busy, they would have to do inventory, clean, package etc… You can’t have a work idle. Plus those people who work at those places as stated above are hard working people too! I respect hard workers.
